This camera is great for someone that doesn't have a need/desire for accurate color representation or nice range of values interior or exterior.
The inside shots are grainy, 'noisy' and dull. The outdoor shots are over saturated (greens are horribly distorted, turn out charteus or neon - see 'customer images'. I've added 2 examples), but the parts of images in shadows are under saturated and dull.
This happens w/ all the cameras I've tried (3) of this type - the compact 'pocket' cameras. It must be due to the smaller lens and/or sensor. Not sure, but not a camera for anyone that has an eye for color/detail.Get more detail about Nikon Coolpix L20 10MP Digital Camera with 3.6 Optical Zoom and 3 inch LCD (Deep Red).
