Improvement is definitely needed on this camera. I was surprised to find so many problems in so little time:
1. Video recording may freeze. I had to take the batteries out and put back in to shut it down.
2. PC software doesn't download some files, and just stuck there.
3. Because of 2 above, I found this: No automatic shutdown. It drained out the two AA batteries as I left it to continue downloading to my PC.
4. Doesn't always respond to the shutter press. This is very annoying, as the moment could pass in an instant.
5. In review mode, going back-and-forth among pictures and deleting pictures/videos take a long time.
All in all, I think you can buy a much better camera with other vendors for the same price range.
